The shiverpeaks there look like something from a popup story book... all you need is a gingerbread man and a gingerbread house~

I think those graphics look awesome. Guild wars now looks great but I like what they did with the interface and stuff back then.

EDIT: wow , I thought it was a joke but apparently it is not..

I've never seen or heard of a graphics overhaul like this for a video game before, this is crazy.

http://www.guild-hall.net/screens2e.php

Would anyone have a link to some good article on the mke up of the game ? Unfortunately I havent been buying Edge magazine or Game Developer for a long while ... this graphic overhaul just amazes me o_O !!

Opinions opinions opinions .

On topic, I'm glad the graphics have moved on from what they were before, some of those screenshots remind me of a beefed up Daggerfall.

If memory serves correctly, this was an early version of the Mission with the Eye following you around...

EDIT: I Don't remember the Upkeep tab at all... Any of the old folks here?

Damns.. that's exactly what I thought when I saw the shots. Props to the Anet team for getting GW from that to what it is today! I wonder how GW will look in say 2 years or so, say closer to Chapter 3.

Nice? It's terrible!

I'm glad about the Guild Wars looks, though, I'd much rather have the beta looks

Well it is nice .. as in classic old RPG feel.. but GuildWars is far from Baldur's Gate.

I'd say if it weren't for the very atmospheric and breathtaking graphics... the world of GuildWars would feel very empty, with its so-so storyline and cliche dialogues.
